Alonso
Quijano is a bored, middle-aged country gentleman. He lives in the
seventeenth century, in a barren plain in central Spain. But he has a
large library. His readings of chivalry novels inspire him to
reinvent himself as a literary character that he names Don Quijote,
who sets out in search of adventures. One of them takes him into a
cave.
What he
finds in it is more than he had bargained for.
