Terry Gilliam's doomed attempts to film a version of Don Quixote are legendary. A documentary, Lost in La Mancha, was even made in 2002 about the difficulties with Gilliam's adaptation. I had thought the project had been shelved, and was surprised to see on IMDB.com that filming for Gilliam's The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is scheduled to start this fall. Maybe if we believe hard enough we can make this film a reality . . .
