Welcome to the Hood College reading group blog. This space will be used to provide discussion prompts and supplementary information and to facilitate virtual participation for anyone who may not be able to attend every meeting.
This academic year, as part of the Center for the Humanities Colloquium Series, we're reading The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Free paperback copies of the book are still available at the library's reference desk.
Everyone is welcome to attend our first meeting on Thursday, September 3, at 1 p.m. in Whitaker Campus Center, room 200. We'll post a discussion prompt on the section of the book we're covering (prologue through chapter 8) between now and then. Hope to see you there!
